Andrew Green

Andrew Green is an associate professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. His areas of interest focus on environmental law; administrative law (including the design of regulatory agencies); instrument choice in environmental law (including instruments for fostering renewable energy); the role of law in fostering individuals’ environmental values; and international trade (including how international trade rules constrain countries’ ability to implement climate change policies). He also analyzes judicial decision making and has undertaken empirical studies of the decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada and the Tax Court of Canada.
