The Laws and Lawyers of Social Change

From: Educating for Action

$1.20

Whether you laugh at lawyer jokes or find them unfunny, you cannot deny that our world needs lawyers. Our society is governed by a system of laws. Generally, lawyers work within that system to enable citizens to obtain justice. As long as we have laws, we need lawyers. You may not need a lawyer in every instance that involves a law or transaction, but the moment a boilerplate contract is thrown in front of you for your signature and there’s a huge consequence to your decision to sign the contract, you may really appreciate the eyes of a trained professional to ensure that your rights will be met.
