Aimee Phan

Aimee Phan grew up in Orange County, California, and now teaches writing and literature at California College of the Arts. She is the author of two books of fiction, The Reeducation of Cherry Truong, and We Should Never Meet, which was named a Notable Book by the Kiryama Prize in fiction and a finalist for the Asian American Literary Awards. She has received fellowships from the NEA, Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Center, MacDowell Arts Colony, Headlands Center for the Arts, and Hedgebrook. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, USA Today, and, among others.
