Uwe E. Reinhardt is James Madison Professor of Political Economy and professor of Economics and Public Affairs, Princeton University. He has served on a number of American government commissions and advisory boards including the National Advisory Council for the Agency for Health Research and Quality, the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the National Council on Health Care Technology. He is, or has been, a member of numerous editorial boards including that of the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association.
