Dean Jobb, an associate professor of journalism at University of King’s College in Halifax, has covered the courts and legal issues for almost thirty years. He is the author of several books, including Media Law for Canadian Journalists (Toronto: Emond Montgomery Publications, 2011) and The Acadians: A People’s Story of Exile and Triumph (Mississauga: John Wiley & Sons, 2005). He writes a column on media law issues for Media, the Canadian Association of Journalists magazine, and frequently reports on media law and other legal issues for The Lawyers Weekly.
