Ruth Nortey

Ruth Nortey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from Ontario Tech University in 2014 and proceeded to obtain a master’s degree in Criminology and Social Justice Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (previously Ryerson University) in 2020. As such, she has extensive knowledge and understanding of the Canadian criminal justice system. She is passionate about issues of systemic racism and specifically the role of anti-Black racism in Canada. She currently volunteers with the Anti-Black Racism and Black Excellence Advisory Committee with the Durham Catholic School Board. Please email [email protected] to contact Ruth.
