In this chapter, Ian McKay interviews Nora Loretto. Nora Loreto is a Quebec City–based activist and author. Her works include From Demonized to Organized: Building the New Union Movement (2013) and Take Back the Fight: Organizing Feminism in the Digital Age (2020). She is the editor of the Canadian Association of Labour Media and also co-hosts the podcast “Sandy and Nora Talk Politics.” She has written for such publications as the National Observer and the Washington Post. Her new book is Spin Doctors: How Media and Politicians Misdiagnosed the Covid-19 Pandemic (2021).
