Tom Williams is a professor emeritus in the School of Policy Studies and in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University. He recently retired as the principal of Queen’s University where he also occupied such diverse management positions as vice-principal of operations and dean of the Faculty of Education. His research interests are in management development and training, the management of large-scale organizational change, board development in public-sector organizations and means of resolving conflict in public organizations. Tom is a frequent speaker on leadership development and is active as a mediator. He serves as facilitator with a wide range of both elected and appointed boards in non-profit organizations.
