Marie Hammond-Callaghan is Associate Professor in History and Women’s and Gender Studies at Mount Allison University, Sackville, New Brunswick. Her current research focuses on transnational women’s peace movements in Cold War Canada and Europe. She has contributed to scholarly journals and edited collections on peace movements and Irish history. She is co-editor of Mobilizations, Protests and Engagements: Canadian Perspectives on Social Movements (Fernwood, 2008).
