Bridging the Practice-Activism Divide
Advocacy, Organizing and Social Movements
This chapter uses examples from frontline social work practice and from schools of social work to highlight ways to integrate activism into everyday social work practice. It discusses various helpful and unhelpful social work interventions and provides six principles for safe, effective activist social work practice.
