W. Michael Wilson holds the position of Senior Vice-President, Strategic Initiatives, RBC Financial Group. Most recently he was Senior Vice-President, Reinsurance, where he was responsible for managing and expanding the reinsurance business for Royal Bank Financial Group. He is a member of the senior executive committee for RBC Insurance and serves as a director of various RBC Insurance companies. He attended Queen's University where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree and an MA degree in history. He was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1986. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
