Stephanie Westlund holds a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies, and was the 2012-2013 Global Citizenship Research Fellow in the Consortium for Peace Studies at the University of Calgary. She has been conducting research with veterans since 2009, and continues to be inspired by their courage and personal resolve to move through pain toward recovery, and their unrelenting desire to serve their communities.
