Cultivating Integrated Values

New!

From: The Web of Meaning

$2.70

This chapter contrasts an inborn moral sense with beliefs in humanity’s intrinsic malevolence. The way values have evolved towards empathy, altruistic behaviours, cooperation, and fairness is described. Neoliberalism and living as an isolated individual is compared to indigenous community values, loving-kindness meditation, and living as a community member.
