Roland Sintos Coloma

Roland Sintos Coloma, MA (Educational Administration), MA (Cultural Studies in Education), PhD is Assistant Dean and Professor of the Division of Teacher Education and co-director of the Kaplan Center for Research on Urban Education in the College of Education at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, USA. His research and teaching focus on urban and global education; history, cultural studies, and education; race, sexuality, and diaspora. He is currently working on two book projects: a manuscript on history, empire, and education; and an encyclopedia volume on diversity, democracy, and social justice in education.
