Braden Hutchinson is a high school teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 at Queen’s University on the social, cultural, and economic history of toys in Canada from the mid-nineteenth to the late twentieth century. His articles have appeared in the Alberta Journal of Educational Research, Scientia Canadensis, and the Journal of the History of Childhood and Youth. His current research focuses on historical thinking and history education and the history of video games.
