A non-profit management consultant, Suzanne Gib son supports new and established organizations as they go through the process of ‘dreaming big’ and uniting around a strategy to turn those dreams into reality. As founding executive director of Raising the Roof, Canada’s first national charity dedicated to alleviating homelessness, Suzanne discovered that people, resources and money follow innovative ideas. Since then, she has committed herself to exploring social entrepreneurship, creativity, invention and social innovation. In addition to consulting, Suzanne also enjoys her work as an instructor for a variety of institutions, including York University’s Schulich School for Business. She has taken a leadership role on six provincial and national volunteer boards, and speaks extensively on leadership, social entrepreneurship, governance, fund development and other issues of importance to the nonprofit sector.
