John Lorinc
JOHN LORINC is a Toronto journalist who writes about urban affairs, politics, business, the environment and education. He has reported for the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, Walrus magazine, Canadian Business, Reader’s Digest, cpa magazine and the New York Times, and has won numerous awards for his journalism. He also writes a weekly politics column for Spacing magazine, where he is a senior editor. Lorinc is the author of three books, including The New City (Penguin, 2006), and was a contributor to every volume of Coach House’s utopia series. He is married to Victoria Foote and they have two sons, Jacob and Samuel.
