VID INGELEVICS is a visual artist, independent curator, and occasional writer. He currently holds the position of Program Director, Photography, at the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University. He has exhibited his artwork in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. He was recently involved in coordinating an exhibition at the City of Toronto Archives that explored the use of photography by social activists in early twentieth-century Toronto as a tool of advocacy for the improvement of the lives of children in The Ward.
