Wayne Desmond was born and raised in the African Nova Scotian Community of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He is a Saint Mary’s University alumnus who majored in Criminology. He is currently a student at Dalhousie University enrolled in the Schulich School of Law. Wayne is a committed son, uncle, mentor, and activist. Wayne also writes for The Nova Scotia Advocate.
