Frank Peters

Frank Peters came to Canada as a teacher. He initially taught in northern Alberta in Fort Chipewyan and later served as a principal with Fort McMurray Catholic Schools. A faculty member at the University of Alberta for over three decades, he served in such roles as associate dean in the Faculty of Education and associate chair and graduate coordinator in the Department of Educational Policy Studies until retiring in 2014. His major areas of expertise relate to educational governance and education and law. He has also taught courses in both the theory and practice of educational leadership and educational change.
