From: The Web of Meaning

$2.60

How the "I" and the "self" split apart early in human evolution is viewed as a defining characteristic of humanity. The differences between I and self are discussed, along with their role in gut feelings, and that decisions are made by a democracy of consciousness, both I and self. The differences between "I think" and "I feel" are explored along with Buddhism traditions and the Chinese integration of mind and heart.
