In We Keep Each Other Safe the authors examine how the pandemic has brought with it an opportunity to push for decarceration as well as opportunity to imagine what a world without prisons could look like. This chapter discusses the work of the Toronto Prisoners’ Rights Project (TPRP), a grassroots organization that uses mutual aid, direct action, and public education to support prisoners and promote prison abolition.
