Remaking the Economy, Then and Now
From: A Good War
$6.40
In Chapter 6, Klein examines the practically of fundamentally retooling our entire economy by reexamining how it has been done before during the Second World War. Klein focuses much of this chapter on arguing against neoliberal ideas and assumption that we can’t change the existing economic system and need the free market to succeed, instead suggesting how we can rework it to fight climate change and create an even strong economy for all through the creation of new Crown Corporations, State Planned Economies, and planning for a New Carbon-Zero future.
