S.J. Adrienna Joyce is a white settler-Canadian educator in Winnipeg currently working with middle school students in a Grade 7 classroom. She is also a PhD candidate at McGill University. Her dissertation research investigates the relationships between race, space and power and their implications for teacher identities. She is interested in anticolonial and antiracist resistances and how to collaborate effectively with teaching colleagues in this pursuit.
