Lauren Kepkiewicz
Lauren Kepkiewicz works as a researcher for the Bow Valley Food Alliance in Banff Alberta and volunteers as a board member for the Canmore Community Garden and Alpine Edibles Schoolyards. As an associate member of the NFU, she participates in the Indigenous Solidarity Working Group and is continually inspired by NFU farmers’ grassroots alliance building. Lauren recently graduated with a PhD from the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto. Terran Giacomini is a PhD candidate in education and community development at the University of Toronto. She is a European settler residing on Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Anishinabek territory in southern Ontario, Canada. Terran is orienting her community-engaged scholarship toward decolonization, ecofeminism and system change.
