Asha Nelson

Asha Nelson recently completed her honours degree in global political economy at the University of Manitoba. She has experience in participatory research, community development and student journalism. Having spent her formative years living overseas, Asha engages in international solidarity through local activism and building cross-cultural awareness. She was the recipient of a University of Manitoba Undergraduate Research Award that allowed her to pursue research on food sovereignty struggles in Canada.
