Jane Farrow is a curious Torontonian who has immersed herself in urban affairs as a city hall staffer, community animator, cbc radio broadcaster, and writer. She was the first executive director of Jane’s Walk, a global movement of free, citizen-led walking tours celebrating urbanist Jane Jacobs’s ideas. For ten years she worked as a cbc Radio One host and producer on such programs as The Sunday Edition, This Morning, Workology, Sometimes Y, and Wanted Words. She co-edited the bestsellers Wanted Words and Wanted Words 2 and The Canadian Book of Lists, including an edition forthcoming in fall 2017
