Introduction

What Are We Doing Here?

New!

From: The Elective Mind

$3.10

The introduction lays out the intent of the book, a long essay reflecting on the value of elective courses in university, specifically philosophy, as an opportunity for shared, social learning and growth for its own sake, rather than for the commodification of higher education, through the authors own story of her journey to value learning and reading.
