Naomi Beingessner

Naomi Beingessner is a doctoral student at the University of Manitoba. Her research looks at the viability of different models of grazing land tenure and governance in the prairie provinces and hopes to help inform the further development of alternative models for farmers and contribute to the emerging body of work on land sovereignty. She grew up with activist parents on a small mixed farm in Saskatchewan and has been an NFU associate member since 2010.
