In this chapter, Cull interviews a woman who fell into sex work and exploitation through a relationship. After a suicide attempt, she lived in a shelter in Saint John’s, where she received counselling and treatment, but she later returned to her abusive partner. Eventually, she was able to flee, and enter the Blue Door Program.
