In this chapter, the author visits the Louisiana Bayous and meets with researchers studying Asian carp. Topics include the challenges researchers face in collecting usable data to understand the impact of invasive species on local ecosystems.
Andrew Reeves is an award-winning environmental journalist whose work has appeared in The Walrus, This Magazine, Alternatives Journal and the Globe and Mail. He received a master of fine arts in creative nonfiction from the University of King’s College in 2016. He lives in Toronto, Ontario, with his wife and daughter.
