Frid explores the impact of the atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) which despite being hard to see itself, its impacts are being felt and seen across coast British Columbia. Frid examines the impact climate change and ocean acidification has had on the Nuxalk Nation of the Bella Coola River. As the increasing frequency of extreme and unpredictable high water, whether caused by sudden rains or by the rapid melting of glaciers brought by hotter springs and summers, the loss of fish stock and food sources, have impacted them and the local bear population, putting both at risk and leading for members of the community to seek out ways to remedy this issue for both the people and the animals who live within it.
