The Conversations We Need to Save Each Other’s Lives
This chapter is a dialogue betweeen two activists who met at the International AIDS Conference in 2008.
Charles Ryan Long and Theodore (Ted) Kerr
Charles Ryan Long is a Chicago-born/based multidisciplinary artist, activist, and Black liberationist. He explores issues of representation, legacy, and loss through papermaking, print, performance, and other mediums that lend themselves to the principles of the democratic multiple/communal resonance. His work seeks out the audience and hopes to stir within them a push toward the future where we center the needs of those with the least among us.
