The Divided House of Labour

New!

From: The Fire and the Ashes

$1.70

In this chapter, Jackson examines the Canadian Labour Congress, which appointed him senior economist on May Day 1989. He suggests that the CLC is a fragile body compared with central labour federations in other countries, and that union leaders within the CLC often competed in ways that undermined the larger labour movement.
