Marilyn Rose is a professor of English, Director of the Humanities Research Institute, and Dean of Graduate Studies at Brock University. Her scholarly work includes publications and presentations on such poets as Pauline Johnson, Florence Randall Livesay, Dorothy Livesay, Elizabeth Brewster, and P.K. Page, as well as on the auto/biographical dimensions of contemporary Canadian poetry. She is currently constructing a web site on Canadian Poetry and Poetics, with a special emphasis on twentieth-century Canadian women poets and their work.
