Alma Maldonado-Maldonado
Alma Maldonado-Maldonado is a researcher at the Educational Research Department, [Departamento de Investigaciones Educativas] of the Center for Advanced Research [Centro de Investigaciones Avanzadas] in Mexico City. Her research focuses on comparative higher education, international organisations, higher education policy and research in Latin America and particularly on Mexico and issues regarding globalisation, mobility and internationalisation of higher education (institutions, faculty and students).
Vania Banuelos Astorga
Vania Bañuelos Astorga was born in Mexico City. She studied pedagogy at UNAM. She started her experience as research assistant at the Department of Educational Research at CINVESTAV. She has participated as research assistant in several projects including State of Art published by the Mexican Association of Educational Researchers. Vania also participated in the evaluation of the international student mobility programme Sep-Bécalos-Santander Universidades 2014 and the IFP América Latina by the Ford Foundation and International Institute of Education (IIE). She is currently a Master’s student at the Programme of Learning and Educational Policies in the CREFAL.
