The Pull
From: i-Minds, 2nd edition
$0.90
The process of the medium, of i-tech itself, is what is attractive; it draws us in. And this draw, or pull effect, is what has the potential to alter behavior. For example, the central concept in behavioral addiction, as opposed to substance addiction, is that the lure actually has very little to do with outcome. Rather, it is the intrigue, “the high,” offered by the procedure itself.
