Gary T. Trotter
Gary Trotter was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2005, the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) in 2008, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario in 2016. He was educated at the University of Toronto (LLB), Osgoode Hall Law School (LLM), and the University of Cambridge (MPhil, PhD). Before becoming a judge, he practised and then taught in the area of criminal law. He is the author of numerous publications on criminal law and procedure.
