Olivier Côté

Olivier Côté holds a PhD in Canadian history from Laval University. He specializes in the study of media representations of identity. His thesis, to be published by Les éditions du Septentrion in winter 2013, focuses on the context of production, dissemination, and reception of media and the popular series Canada: A People’s History. He has also published an article in the the prestigious French magazine Hermès on Quebecois and Canadian media coverage of French and Dutch referenda on the European integration project.
