From: Making Sense of Society

$2.50

In Chapter 4, Khasnabish digs into the power-laden process of identification as a collective rather than individual phenomenon. In this chapter, topics include: an examination of how a society’s ruling class advances their ideological and material interests over, above, and at the expense of others; culture versus identity; resisting ruling-class impositions; identity as performance; and excerpts from Eva Mackey and El Jones.
