This chapter explores the various ways in which genetic testing is now being used to track the spread of Asian carp. Topics discussed include the various potential applications of environmental DNA sampling (eDNA).

He received a master of fine arts in creative nonfiction from the University of King’s College in 2016. He lives in Toronto, Ontario, with his wife and daughter.
