Trudi Shymka
Trudi Shymka is the Associate Executive Director for The Bloom Group in Vancouver, B.C., and has supported the growth and development of its shelter and affordable housing programs for twenty-five years. Under her guidance, these programs have become recognized specialists in providing low-barrier care for marginalized and Indigenous women. Trudi has also served in leadership positions on the boards of Greater Vancouver Shelter Strategy, Shelter Net BC, and the Homelessness Services Association of BC.
