From: The Big Stall

$1.80

Analyzes the rise of neo-liberalism think tanks in Canada and their impact on energy policy through the 1970s and 1980s. Trudeau’s Keynesian interventions such as the NEP and Petro Canada are undone at the behest of big business. By the time climate change becomes a national issue, Canada has signed on to neo-liberal trade deals which make environmental action difficult to achieve.
