Marie-Claude Prémont
Marie-Claude Prémont is professor of law, École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP), Québec, and former associate dean, graduate studies, Faculty of Law, McGill University. She is a member of the Quebec Bar and Quebec’s Professional Order of Engineers (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec). Her research interests include health law, municipal governance, and legal history. She is a founding member of the Working Group on the Quebec health care system in the wake of the Supreme Court of Canada decision in the Chaoulli case. She is a frequent media commentator and has made presentations before public commissions of the Quebec legislature and the Parliament of Canada on health policy.
