When we look at the changes in our own behavior due to i-tech, the first thing to very seriously consider is that the whole concept of social media was thought up by an individual who many suspect sits on the Asperger’s spectrum, the characteristics of which are typically superior intelligence and interpersonal difficulties. It is all perfectly clear, efficient: no emotive translation needed. Except that the primary social or communication system many of us (who in theory do not have atypical social perception) are now using was potentially launched from a brain that views socialization from an entirely different neurological platform.
