Connecting Class and Class Consciousness: The Acid Test
From: Tipping Point for Advanced Capitalism
$4.90
The primary focus in this chapter is on connections of employment class with these oppositional and hegemonic/revolutionary forms of class consciousness. If class existence in the production relations of paid workplaces is to have progressive political effect in advanced capitalism, there have to be discernible connections between exploited peoples’ location in these relations and their awareness of their exploitation. This chapter searches for these connections.
