Roxana Olivera
Roxana Olivera is a Toronto-based investigative journalist. Her reporting has appeared in the CBC, Media, Huffington Post, The Walrus, El País, New Internationalist, Revista Ideele, Broadview, and the United Church Observer. She won the journalist-in-residence fellowship from Osgoode Hall Law School (2017–2019) and awards from the New York Festival’s International Radio Program Awards and the Associated Church Press in Chicago. She was a recipient of the prestigious Al Neuharth Innovation in Investigative Journalism Award (2015) for her joint work effort with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism on a global investigation into forced evictions financed by the World Bank. Her work is informed with a passion for the rule of law, human rights and social justice, and it has been published in English, Spanish and German.
