Linda Silas
Linda Silas is the elected president of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions, which represents more than 135,000 nurses in nine provinces. Ms Silas brings to the CFNU presidency years of experience as a nurse-leader, a public speaker, and a negotiator at the local, provincial, and national levels. Previously, she was president of the New Brunswick Nurses Union where she served for ten years. Linda Silas is a graduate of l’Université de Moncton where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has practised in New Brunswick at the l’Hôpital Dr. Georges L. Dumont: in ICU, Emergency, and Labour & Delivery.
