Iran: Out of the Cold?

From: Oil and World Politics

$2.30

Analyzes Iran as an independent regional power with immense oil and gas resources and a century-long history of Western interference. Recent disputes centred on the Western assumption that Iran was attempting to build a nuclear weapon. The revival of petroleum investment and trade following the nuclear deal (2016) and the adverse impact of US withdrawal and sanctions (2018) have political and economic ramifications for Western countries, China, and Russia.
