Elizabeth Ballerman
Elisabeth Ballermann was elected in 1995 as the president of the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA), which represents over 14,000 allied health professionals and support workers in over 150 occupations. She is a vice-president of the Alberta Federation of Labour and the National Union of Public and General Employees, and is a founding member of the Canadian Health Professionals Secretariat. She also represents HSAA as a member of the board of the Friends of Medicare (Alberta) and the Parkland Institute at the University of Alberta.
